Open Studios – What is it?
Open Studios are the highlight of our annual programming. This yearly event is a major part of our ongoing commitment to local and wider community engagement and working within the public realm – A gallery charity fundraising evening opening and a three day art, craft and design show, increasingly recognized as one of the most successful of its kind in London.
It’s the perfect opportunity for our growing, vibrant hub of members, all at varying stages of their careers, ranging from recent graduates, emerging artists and makers to long established practitioners, to showcase their individual practices, by opening their studio doors for the public to enter, view, and purchase original works of art craft and design commission-free.
A wide variety of work available across many disciplines and practises including: Architecture, Bookbinding, Cabinetmaking, Ceramics, Clockmaking, Digital, Drawing, Fashion & Accessories, Fine Art, Furniture Design, Garden Design, Glass, Illustration, Jewellery & Silversmithing, Moving Image, Photography, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Textiles & Costume and Writing – there is certainly something of interest for everyone…
